Could Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater # EX93FR Work with RV Shower
Published 12/01/2021 >
Question:
Will this smaller size BTU unit be adequate for showers as it will put out less than 2 gallon per minute? We do live in Florida, so no real cold weather. Can it be mounted inside a cabinet area where the current hot water tank is?

Expert Reply:
Typical home showers have a flow rate of 2.1 gallons per minute and the Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater # EX93FR can put out 1.6 gallons per minute. So while the flow rate might be a little softer it can still be used for a shower. It also can install in same area where current hot water heater is.
