Question:
I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 which I install the TriFlex with the quick connect harness.I have a brand new 20 foot car trailer. When I first started I had the two dots It said it was calibrated, everything was working fine, I set it to 6.0 and went about 25 miles an hour and was braking to test it and the digital display went back to 2.0.I was doing this periodically and every time I braked it kept on doing that. I was on level ground I stopped pull the trailer harness out to re-calibrate it put it back in did it again same thing did this periodically same thing over and over.I tried it again and I did it manually with the control lever To see if the Trailer would stop then it started flashing OL on the digital display. I tried to disconnect the harness behind the unit and I also disconnected the trailer plug several times hopefully it would reset.I can’t get the light to go off. I had to unplug the quick plug connector because the brake lights on my truck would not go off and it was still flashing 0L while the trailer was disconnected. Thank you

You've started in the right direction with troubleshooting the Curt TriFlex # C24VV and Wiring Adapter # C51451 install on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500.
The OL code that you're seeing means that the output circuit is being overloaded which normally means that there is a wiring issue somewhere. Disconnecting all of your wiring involved and inspecting the wiring itself as well as the connectors for any places where it might be damaged is what you'll want to do.
If all of that looks good then it might actually be the controller itself. I don't like to throw dirt on a manufacturer but Curt doesn't make the most reliable controllers unfortunately. If the wiring looks good and you're able to isolate the problem to the brake controller then I would take advantage of the limited lifetime warranty if I were in your shoes.
