Will a Yakima Front-loader bike rack and a Yakima JayLow kayak rack work on the Malone LowMax Trailer?

The crossbars used on the Malone #MPG460G MicroSport trailer measure 1-1/4 inches square, which is compatible with both the Yakima JayLow # Y04073 and the # Y02103 FrontLoader roof mount bike rack.

I was very disappointed today to discover that my Yakima JayLow kayak racks do NOT fit on the 1.25" crossbars that come standard with my new Microsport Trailer. Like customer Brint D, I also have the Yakima FrontLoader bike racks and was hoping to use these in combination with the JayLows to carry two bikes and two yaks. If the JayLow does fit, please, please tell me how it does so I don't have to buy all new kayak racks. If the JayLow (and the Frontloader) does not fit, y'all should tell people that up front, i.e. Malone crossbars are too wide to accommodate standard Yakima (and presumably Thule as well) boat and racks.

@SilvesterS I'm having difficulty figuring out why you're having a fit problem. The Malone MicroSport trailer uses crossbars that have a 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 inch square profile. According to Yakima, the FrontLoader bike rack will fit crossbars up to 3 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. The J-Low fits crossbars up to 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-11/16 inches tall. Can you describe the fit problem further for me?

@MikeL Thank you for your response, and apologies for my tardy reply while I was on travel. The videos referenced in your earlier reply to Brint D do not show either one of these racks mounted to a Malone trailer. The maximum dimensions you quote refer to *aero bars ONLY*. Otherwise Yakima (and Thule) products are designed to fit industry standard square bars of less than 1" tall, as in your catalog products below: 1) Thule SquareBar Evo Crossbars / Part Number: TH712500 Dimensions: 60" long x 1-1/4" wide x 7/8" tall 2) Inno Square Crossbars / Part Number: IN436L Dimensions: 79" long x 7/8" tall x 1-1/4" wide I took pictures which clearly illustrate the fit problem, but cannot figure out how to attach them. Suggestions? Go to your warehouse and try to fit one of these racks to a Malone 1.25" bar. You will quickly discover what I'm talking about. I look forward to your response. Regards, Silvester
