Is Creaking Noise Normal from Blue Ox Weight Distribution System

Question:

when driving slow or turning the noise coming from the tow system sounds like a creeking sinking ship. Any thoughts?

It's very normal for weight distribution systems to make noises like what you described. There's a lot of tension in the system that is made from metal components that have to move so noise becomes inevitable. And actually it helps reduce sway since the noise is basically the sound of friction. Attempts to lessen the sounds will make the sway control diminished.
