Yes, you can replace the 7-way that comes on the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22114 with the Hopkins 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975.
If you are going to need a trailer brake controller for the Tekonsha harness on your 2018 Ford Transit T250, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This controller has a LCD screen that is easy to read and customizable. If there is an issue with either the controller or the trailer brakes the controller will tell you what to check rather than having to search for a manual and determine what the code is telling you.
