Can The Kurt Transfer 3 Carry An Ebike With No Battery

Hi guys I have an ebike that weighs 49.4 lbs w/o battery and a Kuiat transfer3. I would be only packing 1 bike..I have a 2020 traverse suv with built in 2inch hitch and adapter on the rack to fit that 2 in hitch. Is it safe to carry the ebike, w/o battery.. on the rack closest to the car..without the battery, on a 700 mile trip? Thank you so much for you help

I have a solution for you, although the Kuat transfer 3 is a nice rack its max weight per bike is only 40 pounds, I would not trust this on any trip especially one going 700 miles.
However you can use the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
Item # RKY10007. This can hold an Ebike up to 60 pounds, you should still always remove the battery from an Ebike while it is being transported.
And if you want you can upgrade it later on to carry another bike with 1 Bike Add-On for RockyMounts MonoRail Solo and MonoRail for 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY10005.
