Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C22HR is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Acura MDX A-Spec. Note: this hitch fits with mini spare tire stowed under vehicle, but does not fit with full size spare. This fully welded trailer hitch receiver bolts onto your Acura MDX's frame with no welding required. The powder coated steel is sturdy and corrosion resistant. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 6,000lbs (8,000lbs when used with weight distribution system) and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 900lbs. Note: this does not increase the capacity that your MDX can tow so you will need to refer to your owner's manual and follow which ever is the lowest capacity.

If you don't already have a 4-pole connector then I recommend part # 118804.

For a ball mount kit I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500lbs # 989900. It's a great starter kit with a 1-7/8" hitch ball and 2" hitch ball. The shanks will provide a drop of 2" or 4" and a rise of 1" or 3" to keep your trailer level while towing.
