Today, we're going to review Part Number 2178. This is the Tekonsha Replacement Mounting Bracket for the Tekonsha Brake Controllers. This part we can replace the mounting bracket for your Tekonsha Brake Controller. The mounting screws are included. This part is made in the USA and basically this will also fit the Tekonsha brand Voyager, the Acutrac, the Pod and the Prodigy line. I do have an example here, of a Prodigy P3 and actually when you order this one, we do sell this part number separately on our website.
It's Part Number 90195. It actually comes with this mounting bracket, so if you need to replace it or add another one, that's what this part number would be. Basically, the way it would install, you see there's the holes in the side, and you would just line this up and then use the mounting screws to mount the bracket to whatever vehicle and then the mounting screws also to the brake controller itself. Replaces the mounting bracket for Tekonsha Voyager brake controllers.Although this bracket is listed for the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller, it must be a universal fit for many products as it comes nowhere close to fitting the Voyager without using long screws to fasten it into the bracket.
they did not send me the screws that should have came with the package to mount the bracket to the controller . they also seem to be very technically challenged as no one at etrailer can tell me the size or type screw it is ? so i'am still waiting to get my screw package of six two months after my purchase of part no. 2178
Mounts the controller fine, but isn't ideal if you wish to switch the controller between vehicles (permanent install only). 2016 Odyssey shown.

I have a brake controller that was previously installed in a vehicle that was heading for the scrapyard. The controller worked just fine but I had misplaced the mounting bracket. I ordered a new one from etrailer.com and received it in just a few days. Not much to it, just stamped sheet metal, not much way for it to be wrong. It is what it is and fit and functioned just fine.

Good price. Fit right up to an older model Tekonsha Voyager brake controller that was tagged with an 11/95 manufacture date sticker.
The bracket is as factory specs and fits perfict.as brackets go. I never thought I would be ab le to find just the bracket i needed but you seem to have everything .I will always come to you with my trailer needs.
