Question:
Do i need a solar panel charge controller since my Pd Power center includes a lithium compatible charge controller? Can you provide a wiring diagram? I want to add a 400 watt solar array, do have I capacity - also do I need a switch to solar vs. Land power input?

Even though your Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4575K18LS8 has a charger for the batteries, you will still need a solar panel charge controller with your solar array to manage the solar panel power that is coming in. I confirmed this with my contact at Progressive Dynamics.
So something like the 550 Watt system # 34275012 that we carry, you'll still want to connect all of the equipment and then ultimately connect the solar panel power directly to your batteries - it won't go through the power center. This also means that you won't need a switch either (aside from the a transfer switch that might exist if you have an onboard generator).
Attached is a photo from one of our helpful articles that gives a basic example of how the solar charge controller will be connected to your batteries. I'm also attached some solar panel help articles for you to check out.
