Question:
Im trying to buy a wiring harness from you, but I need some help. I think Im missing something on my vehicle. I have a 2018 Ford Explorer Base, no tow package. Here is a pic of the connector in the back underneath by passenger side rear tire. Can you help me with what I need to install a 7 way trailer connector?

Helpful Expert Reply:
You are not missing anything on your 2018 Ford Explorer. You will remove the cap from that harness and plug the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56306 into the connector. Be sure to use the cap on the 2nd connector since you do not have the other wiring harness that is on some Explorers.
You will need a Mounting Bracket # C67UR to mount the 7-way on your Explorer and I do recommend using some Dielectric Grease # 11755 inside the connections to protect them from corrosion and moisture.
