Recommended Replacement For A Dometic Duo Therm 620426.321

Question:

Hi. This is NOT a direct replacement for my duo therm AC. You only have 6 wires coming from unit which leads me to believe it cant be connected to thermostat. My duo therm is 620426.321. I have 10 wires. Some go to a board on ac.

Replacement rooftop units like the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 15,000 Btu - White # ACDOM150 use the 6-wire adapter to connect to the air distribution box which would have the controller inside of it. Some Dometic models have the controller inside of the rooftop unit, which is most likely the case with yours because you've stated you have 10 wires. If you have a model with the controller inside of the rooftop unit then the only option is to replace your unit with similar Dometic unit or completely replace your system.
