Question:
Can you provide a little bit of schematic information regarding the hitch depth of the EcoHitch Invisi receiver, specifically from the pin hole forward to the end of the hitch receptacle. Im specifically looking to use this hitch on a Subaru Crosstrek 2013 with a Kuat bike rack. I understand that the hitch butts up against the muffler and that some people have fit issue with certain racks and hitch mounts if they are too long. The Kuat rack has a dimension of 2.75 inch from the pin hole to the rear or the hitch I would appreciate your help to best understand if this rack and hitch will be compatible once installed on a 2013 crosstrek. If you know the equivalent dimension of the hitch, that would be helpful. Or if you know the final working distance from the pin hold to the muffler on a 2013 Crosstrek, that would also suffice. Thanks

Good question, and the receiver measures a full three inches from the face of the hitch to the back of the EcoHitch Invisi which fits your 2013 Subaru Crosstrek, which is the following part:
- EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7203
More specifically, the # 306-X7203 measures 2-1/2 inches from the front of the receiver to the center of the hitch pin hole, and 1/2 inch from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the receiver. So the muffler will very likely interfere with the back of the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack - Black # NV22B or Gray # NV22G.
You can still use the NV 2.0, but will need a different hitch for your Crosstrek, and the option I recommend, due to it having the best ground and bumper clearances for your Crosstrek, is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13135.
