While you are installing the hitch that will be a good time to add the Mounting Bracket for 7-Way # 18138. This will give you a location to mount your 7-way connection point so it is out of the way and in a safe place.

I recommend the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector # 22116 to complete your install. This will give you the connection to need to haul a trailer or camper.

For your brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional
# 90885, this lets you control your trailer brakes without needing to apply vehicle brakes.
