Which Frost Plug to Use For Installing Block Heater on 2011 Ford Escape 3.0
Published 10/28/2021 >
Question:
Hello I purchased your product the other day and I was curious where on a 2011 Ford Escape limited 3.0 the right frost plug is to replace with the heater and how to go about doing that

The Kat's block heater part # KH11409 that you referenced does fit your 2011 Ford Escape with a 3.0 liter and the frost plug you are going to use is located in the right rear location which means as you are looking at the engine from the front of it it's the location around the back corner on your left/passenger side. You'll need to unthread the plug that's there currently and then thread this back in it's place.
