I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13269 for your 2020 Jeep Renegade. The 2" receiver has more ball mounts and accessories available for it making it a better and stronger receiver. The maximum tongue weight capacity is 525lbs and maximum trailer capacity is 3,500lbs. Be sure to not exceed the specifications given from Jeep for your specific Renegade.

You will need a Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118651 for the 4-way flat wiring harness that will control the tail lights on your trailer. The harness uses OEM style connecters to tie into your tail lights so that you do not have to splice into the factory wiring. If your trailer has a different connection please let me know and I can ensure you get exactly what you need. The Mounting Brackets # 18140 and # 18144 will provide you a clean no drill mount that will attach to the cross tube on the receiver and give you a secure mounting point for the 4-way end.

The ball mount that you need will depend on the height of the trailer coupler on your travel trailer. When we installed the Curt Receiver # C13269 on a 2020 Jeep Renegade the height of the receiver ended up being 10-1/2" from the ground. Most trailers have their couplers between 16" and 18". A Curt Ball Mount # C45100 has a 6-1/4" rise which would put it at around 16-3/4" tall. If you find that your travel trailer hitch height to the base of coupler is much different please let me know and I can recommend one that will be a closer match. A 2" Hitch Ball # 40038 will then attach to the ball mount for connecting your trailer.
