I do have one option for you since the Replacement BOLT Lock Cylinder # BL709231 is for the Tailgate Handle with BOLT Lock # BL5922987 and will not replace the factory lock on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500WT. For that cylinder you will need to visit a Chevrolet dealer.
We do offer the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock # PAL8140 that will allow for you to use the power locks on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT to lock and unlock your tailgate so that you will not need the key.
