Question:
Is their a quick release pin for the y36fr to release from the hitch? That may not be advisable but curious, thanks

Due to the threaded design of the hitch pin/hitch receiver tube you won't be able to use a standard hitch pin. It does take longer to remove the hitch pin from the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y36FR but the benefit of no rattling while hauling your bikes around will outweigh the extra time it takes. The anti-rattle hitch pin also acts as a theft deterrent as well as it will take longer for any potential thieves to try and steal your rack and will require tools to remove.
Yakima also makes a hitch pin lock # Y07235 if you would like to add some additional security.
