Great web site, really helps. Bought a year or so ago. a complete THURE rack system to carry my kayak, for my 2008 F-150 supercab. System consisted of A/ 2-Squarebar Steel Load Bars 60 B/ 4-Rapid Traverse Footpacks #480R C/ 4-Roof Rail System Fit Kit. All worked great. Bought a new 2021 F-150 supercab, bought 4-New Roof Rail System Fit Kit 14527. The 14527 clamps will not slide into the Footpack #480 and there is no way to tighten the rack to the roof. I followed instructions from both the manufacture and eTrailer suggestions on the 14527 clamp being good for the new 2021 truck. I have a lot of money in this rack system but I can not install it on the truck, HELP

The Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit part # TH29TX (145271) is designed for use with the new Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars part # TH710501 which are only compatible with the new crossbars that have an integrated channel underneath like the Thule SquareBar Evo Crossbars part # TH712500. Therefore, you can no longer use older crossbars and foot packs on newer vehicles unfortunately due to Thule's redesign.

It sounds like you are trying to use a new fit kit with older foot pack which is why they are not lining up.
