For your 2021 BMW X3 M40i the best trailer hitch receiver to carry your two bikes is going to be the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH46FR due to the receiver being removeable so that when you are not carrying your bike rack, the hitch will be completely hidden.

Along with this the 600lb tongue weight rating of this receiver will be perfect for carrying a bike rack and your two bikes.

Now the receiver on this rack is designed for carrying a bike rack and cargo carrier only, and will not work with a ball mount for a trailer if needed. You would need to pick up the towing kit # 391CONVD5 should you need to tow a trailer in the future.
