Is the Ark Ezi-Guides Self-Aligning Boat Trailer Loading System Spring Loaded
Published 10/07/2021 >
Question:
Hi I have a 14-ft Bayliner Capri 1987. I have a tremendous amount of hard times trying to put my boat on my trailer by myself and hitting the bow centered in the bow wheel in the front on the trailer. I was looking at these thinking I could possibly mount them underneath the trailer maybe towards the front to help me guide this on by myself in the water my question is is do they spring down so I could mount them on my trailer and then as the boat goes over them theyll spring down to attach the proper size? Also my trailer frame is an escort trailer made for the Bayliner boat is 3-in square tubing Will this mount on these 3-in square tubing?

The Ark Ezi-Guides Self-Aligning Boat Trailer Loading System part # AR64FR are indeed spring loaded so they will swing down once the weight of the boat passes over them. They are designed to be installed closer to the rear per the instructions. The brackets will accommodate frame up to 3" wide so they will work great for you. That said, you'll need to supply your own u-bolts as the kit only comes with ones for a 1" wide frame.
