Keys Needed for Diversi-Tech Hitch Ball That Came With No Keys
Published 10/06/2021 >
Question:
I recently bought a used Diversi-tech hitch with no keys. How do I determine which key I would need for my hitch? I noticed there are several to choose from on your site but I’m not sure which 4 digit number mine would be. I can’t see anything printed on the hitch itself. Any ideas? I’d like to order some keys so I can adjust and use the hitch. Thanks in advance for your help.

To get the correct replacement keys you would need to know what the original key number was. If you don't have a way to know what that key number was we do still have a solution with the Re-Keying Kit # DTLBM02RK. This comes with everything you need to swap out the old lock cores with new ones that match the keys in the kit. Attached is an installation video for you to check out.
I would also recommend adding some grease to your hitch ball whenever you go to couple to a trailer. That to hitch ball looks a bit worn so something like the White Grease # 58117 will help to increase the life of the hitch ball.
