Question:

Im also looking to replace the Atwood GC6AA-10E. Limiting dimension in cabinet is a drawer that sits directly above the water heater. Height under drawer and drawer pull is about 13. It looks like the Dometic replacement that you recommended will fit just fine with the trim kit for the opening. Unfortunately, 10 gallon replacement is too high. Is there a thankless alternative that would fit under that height limitation?

The Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 60,000 BTU # FR93FR will be a great tankless replacement for your Atwood GC6AA-10E. The Furrion tankless is 12-5/8" tall so it will fit in your 13" under your drawer. To confirm a fit the other dimensions are 19-3/16" deep x 12-13/16" wide.

You can add a door, Replacement Access Door for Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - 16" x 16" # FR43FR, as long as you aren't using the drawer above.
