What Replacement Cup Holder Do You Recommend that Does Not Narrow at the Bottom?

Question:
Our RV came equipped with 7 of these cup holders. We do not drink coffee and these holders will not hold any of the cups that we have. The shrunken size at the bottom prevents cups from going in, and they fall over and spill everywhere. Is there a replacement that does not have the shrunken size at the bottom, ie the holder would not shrink at the bottom, and maybe be 3-4inch deep so that it will hold a drink safely? We have found several round holders that will fit, but then the handle part would let lots of stuff fall down in the compartment, so we want a replacement that still has the handle fitting. We mostly drink from the large yeti type cups. 30 -32 oz, but have also tried 12-16 oz containers and the bottom is still too small. We have talked to several other RV owners who are unhappy with these cup holders also for the same reasons.

The only console-style cup holder that we have that is close to the diameter you are seeking without narrowing at the bottom is the 2-7/8 inch diameter Optronics Drop In Cup Holder # 302B. The Optronics cup holder is designed to drop into your current Optronics Drop In Cup Holder with Handle Rest # 09017101B. However, you will still an open cavity on your current cup holder. Unfortunately, we do not currently have something that can cover that opening.
If you are looking for something larger, I recommend the Adjustable Cup Holder - White # 37245624. With this cup holder, you can store cups up to 44 ounces. As far as the installation, it does require drilling. It comes with the mounting screws.
