I just bought a new 2022 Ford F-250 with the factory in bed hitch mounting points. It is a short be so I want to get a sliding hitch. What hitch do you recommend?

I recommend the Demco Hijacker as being the best 5th wheel hitch for your 2022 Ford F-250. This hitch is available in 2 weight ratings based on the 5th wheel you will be hauling.

Both of these are auto-sliding hitches so you can stay in your truck instead of having to deal with unlocking and locking in receiver that is needed with a manual slider. They will drop into your factory prep/puck holes in your bed for a fast installation. If you have a specialty style pin box like the Glide Ride, Mor Ryde, Trailair Tri Glide, Trailair Flexair, Rota Flex, and 5th Airborne you will need a custom locking plate. Otherwise the standard 12"-14" wide pin boxes will work without a mounting plate.
