In order to setup your 2020 Subaru Outback with a 7-way connector, you first will need to have a 4-way connector installed on your vehicle. You can do both with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires, part # ETBC7. It will involve some wire splicing, but when you are done you will have the 7-way and 4-way options on your 2020 Subaru Outback.
