Question:
We have a work trailer that has dual air compressors used to lift and lower its ramp, they draw 25-30 amps when they run and there is a Group 24 Deep Cycle Battery. Will this unit be able to handle that load being drawing for 15-20 minutes at a time?

For your Trailer I recommend the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # RED96FR as it is what you should be using for your single battery. This will provide 12 amps of charge from a 12 amp current which you should be able to get from your 7-way charge line already on your tow vehicle. Your single Group 24 Battery # BRW34FR will have an amp hour rating of around 75. This means that in good condition it will put out 75 amps of 12 volt power for 1 hour.
The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1250D allows for a maximum input current of 50 amps and is recommended for battery groups with the capacity of 200 amp hours or greater. Unless you are planning on installing more batteries this really is not the charger you want to use.
