Charging Lithium House Battery with DC to DC Battery Charger

Question:
I will be installing the the Progressive Dynamics Power control center 35 amp and know that it has a switch for charging lithium batteries in conjunction with the smart charger. I also want to charge the lithium battery from the car accessory wire from the pigtail while driving. Do I need a special converter to charge the lithium battery from the cars 12 volt supply?

There are several ways you can do this, I suggest using a DC to DC battery charger such as the Redarc In-Vehicle battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC, # 331-BCDC1250D. If you have or will have solar panels included in your system, even more reason to select this product. Please note attached images and the link to product review video.
