What is the Best Roof Rack System to Use with My Thule Hullavator on My 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

For using your Thule Hullavator # TH898 on your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L with black and chrome flush factory rails, I recommend the following parts: - Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 50" # Y00425 - SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Fixed Mounting Points, Flush Rails, and Track Systems # Y53TR - Landing Pad 19 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers # Y00245 - (Optional for theft-deterrence) Yakima Same-Key System Cores # Y07204 With this roof rack system, you will have roof at the end of your crossbars for the required 4-8 inches of additional crossbar space past the SkyLine towers for the Hullavator to function. I went ahead and attached a video of this crossbar system installed on a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee to give you perspective of how much length you will have (note that even though the 2018 model uses different landing pads than your 2021 model, this will not affect the functionality of the Hullavator). Also, the Hullavator will be able to clamp to the JetStream crossbars with no issues.

As far as using the Yakima JetStream setup with 2 Thule Hullavators # TH898, you will most likely be over the weight limit of the crossbar system. Since 2 Hullavators would be 79.4 pounds, if your kayaks weigh about 50 pounds, that total weight would be 179.4 pounds total.
