For consistent loads on rear axle, a bump stop replacement like the Timbren # TFR1504E would be a good option, because they don't affect your ride quality until your rear suspension starts to compress from either cargo in the truck bed or from the tongue/pin weight of a trailer. My only knock against the Timbren springs is that once they're under compression, the vehicle's ride gets pretty stiff. The SumoSpring Solo, part # SSR-116-47 for 2WD or # SSR-117-47 for 4WD trucks are a bit more pliable and would offer better ride quality.
