Can I Put Conspicuity Reflective Tape on Diamond Pattern Steel Plate

Question:
Does this tape or a similar tape work on Diamond steel or aluminum plating the sides and back of my trailer?

I don't recommend putting the 7" Long White/ 11" Long Red Conspicuity Reflective Tape - (8) 18" Strips # RE18T on diamond plates because it's going to be tough to get it to stick without bubbles everywhere. With that said, it will certainly stick to flat metal surfaces without issue.
