5TH Wheel Trailer Hitch For Lippert Turning Point On 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5-1/2' Bed

will the companion sliding fifth wheel hitch fit my 2012 short box silverado for use on a Lippert turning point

I do have an option for you as with the Lippert Turning Point Pin Box you cannot use a 5th wheel hitch like the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3400-5W. This is due to the single attachment point of this particular style hitch.

If you wish to keep the same clean bed style as the B&W with your short bed(5-1/2') 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 you will need the Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DM8551008. This will allow you to use their Demco Hijacker UMS Series Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # DM5988 for gooseneck towing or the Demco 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550041 for towing your 5th wheel.

As you have the Lippert Turning Point pin box you will not need a sliding 5th wheel hitch. The Turning Point moves the pivot location back 22" which will give you enough clearance to make jackknife turns.
