I am looking for air bags for my 2022 GMC 2500 and am trying to decide between the Air Lift and Firestone 7500lb bags. Is one better than the other?

Between the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Air Helper Springs # F2709 and the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 # AL57541 for your 2022 GMC 2500 I recommend the # F2709.

The Firestone air helper springs are a bit more durable in our experience due to the roll crimp seal keeping the air spring securely connected to the end plates, and them being adjustable between 5-150 PSI gives you a bit more room for fine tuning than the 5-100 PSI working range of the Air Lift helper springs.

To keep from having to manually inflate your helper springs each time you are ready to tow a trailer or carry a heavy payload I recommend going with an on-board air compressor. I like the Air Command # F2219 due to it allowing you to adjust the air pressure in each helper spring individually to level off-center loads, and this system utilizes a heavy duty compressor so it can provide up to 150 PSI to match the Firestone springs where most other compressors cannot.
