Can Air Lift Air Helper Springs Be Used On 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Driven Off-Road?

Question:

Will the AirLift Loadmaster 5000 Ultimate Plus work for a 2018 Power Wagon without having to worry about tearing the bag when off roading? Or would a cradle still need to be used like with the Firestone Ride-Rite? I tow a 10k toy hauler and the truck is leveled. Trying to find my best option. Thanks

If you are planning on off-roading with your 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon then you will not want to use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL88289 you were looking at as it is attached to both the frame of your truck and the axle so it will not give the best articulation.

Using a cradle like you mentioned in conjunction with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598 would allow for more articulation without worrying about damaging the spring, but the cradles will more than likely void the warranty on the springs as they were not designed to be used with them.

If keeping the warranty of the suspension enhancement is important to you, you would be better off with the SumoSprings # SSR-312-54 which will not be damaged off-road and provide 2800lbs of support which is plenty for your 10000lb toy hauler as you should only have 1000-1500lbs tongue weight.
