Why Isn't There Replacement LED for Optronics Taillight # RVSTL0061
Updated 09/09/2021 | Published 09/08/2021 >
Question:
Does the RVSTL0061 have a replacement LED option? I know these last much longer than incandescent bulbs, but what do you do if/when that LED burns out? What is the typical lifespan of these LEDs?

Expert Reply:
If the LED of the Optronics taillight # RVSTL0061 was to burn out you'd want to just replace the entire unit. The bulb/light is not replaceable in this but also even if it was replacement LED bulbs are about the same cost as this so even if it was replaceable you'd still be better off just replacing the whole thing. LED lights like this are typically rated for 50,000 hours.
