Question:
I have a 2012 Ford Expedition with a factory raised rail. I understand I will need different cross bars then the factory ones for this kayak rack. I believe its recommended to use Thule Wingbar Evo 60. Will the 60inch be long enough for the 4 to 8 inch overhang? If not, what do you recommend?

If you're wanting to use the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 on your 2012 Ford Expedition, the best way to ensure that you've got the required bar space is going to be to measure the distance between the raised side rails and then add at least 8 inches (minimum of 4 inches for each side).
The typical Thule roof rack system that fits on your 2012 Ford Expedition uses 60 inch long crossbars # TH711520, which should provide 4 inches on each side of the raised side rails; when paired with the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401 you'll have a complete Thule roof rack system for your 2012 Expedition.
If you find that you've got more than 52 inches between the raised side rails on your 2012 Expedition, let me know what the measurement you've found is and I can recommend a more appropriate length for your setup. I've also linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to check out as well.
