Installing a Rack System on my Snugtop on Tacoma Longbed. Am I missing anything? Basically just hauling ladders so dont need a large weight capacity. Any other suggestions? I have a solution for you, but the square bars you were looking at are not a fit for this application. You can continue with the Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks 55" # RTC14 and Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs # RRRLT600 that you were looking at and then go with Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Black - 49" # RRVA126B-2 or 54" bars # RRVA137B-2.
This is a popular setup that will be sure to work well together. Also, these aero bars are a nice upgrade over square bars for a few reasons; they have reduced wind noise and have an integrated channel on top which allows for easy installation of t-slot accessories. I attached a demonstration video for you.
