can I or what do I need to hook this up to my 2004 GMC Yukon Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller Item # RED24FR?

Yes. You can install a Redarc Liberty # RED44FR on your 2004 GMC Yukon when you use the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller # RED69FR and Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Pigtail - GM # 3015-S. This will give you a plug and play installation of the Liberty; you'll just need to splice the wired ends together with the butt connectors included with the Tekonsha # 3015-S harness.
