Question:

I have a Nissan Titan SV with a 5 foot six inch box. Is there a sliding fifth wheel hitch that will mount to my vehicle available? Also, if there is one available, where can I find one?

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550040 is specifically designed for trucks with a 5-1/2' bed like your 2017 Nissan Titan. It is capable of sliding 22-1/2" from the towing position for the clearance needed to maneuver your trailer. As this is an auto sliding hitch you will not have to manually unlock the hitch into the maneuvering position, it will automatically slide farther back from your cab as you turn left and right. The hitch is rated for a maximum tongue weight of 3,250lbs and maximum trailer weight of 13,000lbs. Be sure to verify your maximum towing capacity with your Nissan dealer on your Titan based on factory installed options.

You may require locking plates on your 5th wheel pin box if you have a cushioned pin box or your pin box is not between 12 and 14" wide. If you need help in determining if you need a locking plate please let me know what pin box you have on your 5th wheel.
