Will this work on a 2021 ram cab and chassis truck with no bed?

As you have a Cab and Chassis 2021 Ram 3500 you will need to use a 5th wheel hitch that is designed for a cab and chassis truck.

The Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30054 is rated for up to 30,000lbs and use with cab and chassis trucks. This hitch offers 3" of height adjustment making it 9-1/2" to 12-1/2" tall. The mounting bolts are 25" apart from left to right and 15" apart front to back. You will likely need to have a custom mounting plate made and mounted to your frame rails.

The 5th wheel brackets you saw are only designed to be used with a Ram that has a bed. The truck bed is required to give these brackets the extra support needed for the rails and 5th wheel hitch. The Curt Brackets # C16419 are custom fit for only 2002-2008 Ram 1500's excluding extended cabs.
