Question:
My sprinter van has other devices installed on the roof near the Fan-tastic Fan. How much room is needed on the sides of the vent, measured from the screw hole that attaches the bracket? 2020 Sprinter, FV8300 vent fan

The Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover - 23" x 19.5" x 10.25" - Black # DMC38FR you were looking at for your Fan-Tastic Vent Fan will stick out right at 2-1/2" from the perimeter mounting screws securing your fan to the roof.
You will need to make sure you have at least that much clearance on each side for the cover to fit.
