Question:

I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD that does not have the oem 5th wheel rail/system. I currently have an after market set up not sure what brand. Due to the long mounting brackets on frame, I am unable to install an airbag system, such as Air Lift, as the longer rail brackets prevent the use of the u type bolts that would secure the top of the air bag to the frame. The bracket appears to go from rail to rail on the truck frame. My question is, would this particular product have enough space between the mounting brackets to put airbags on? Hope this makes sense. The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWRVK2505 will work great with the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57541 which are a fit for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Please note, they did change the design of the u-bolts for the air bag kit so they can work better with certain fifth wheel hitches. They use a two bolt design now, not a a single u-bolt so it may work with your existing if you have not yet tried this.
