Can Trailer Hub AKIHUB-545-2-G-1K Replace Hub that Used Wheel Bolts

Question:

Hi, I have an older boat trailer with lug bolts instead of lug nuts with 12 in wheels, 5 on 4 1/2 , bearings are 1 in L44643 inner and outer, will these hubs work for me ?

Aside from the wheel bolt/lug nut difference the trailer hub part # AKIHUB-545-2-G-1K is exactly the same as your current hub. This has the same 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and uses the same bearings L44643 for inner and outer.

Now what you might run into is an issue attaching your wheels to this hub. Since your old hub used wheel bolts your current wheel may not have the taper where the lug nuts would install so you might need new wheels which if you got me what size wheel you have I can see what you'd need. This hub does come with lug nuts though.
