Installing Trailer Wiring Harness # C56181 on 2013 Chevy Traverse
Updated 05/08/2013 | Published 05/04/2013 >
Question:
Do you have a video on how to install the wire harness on a 2013 Traverse? I see you have to run a hot wire to the battery? What a pain, I will buy it from you if you help me through the install. Thanks!

I've linked you to install instructions for the wiring harness you mentioned, but I'd recommend using the Tow Ready # 118270 which doesn't require a power wire that's run to the vehicle's battery. The # 118270 includes a wiring harness that plugs into the tow package connector located under the vehicle on the passenger side to the right of the muffler, as well as the fuses and relays necessary to activate the factory trailer wiring tow package. The video I've linked shows the harness being installed in a 2015 Traverse, but the procedure should be the same as with your 2013 model
