Parts Needed To Install a Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller on a 2021 Jeep Gladiator With Tow Package

Your part RED44fr, 3073-p appears to include both the brake controller and the harness adapter 3073-p that would work with my Gladiator. But it looks like I would cut the adapter and splice the four wires to those of the connector on the brake controller. Right? Otherwise the connecting parts dont appear to work together without some other adapter.

You are correct that the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR will not directly connect to the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter # 3073-P when you go to install these on your 2021 Jeep Gladiator with the factory tow package. This is due to Redarc not making a wiring adapter for the Gladiator currently.
You can splice the wiring as you figured out, or use the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter for Tekonsha Brake Controller Harness # 331-TPH-017 to make it completely plug and play. I have linked an installation video below that shows both the adapters used for this installation.
