Question:

I ordered the Thule Hullavator from you yesterday. I am in the process of buying a 2021 CRV. Can the Thule rack equipment attach to the Honda rails that run front to back on both sides of the roof? Hoping they are sturdy enough. If so what part do I need to attach the rack to the CRV rails? I believe the rail type changed from the 2015 which I know on, and the guys where I am looking to buy the roof rack we’re confused by the rails I have now. I will put a picture of these rules though they aren’t the ones on the 2021. They thought the rails seemed flimsy and I am concerned about the weight of the hullavator as it cantilevers out.

To install the Thule Hullavator # TH898 on the roof of your 2015 Honda CR-V will require you to install a roof rack on the vehicle that provides a set of crossbars that run from side to side that attach to your current flush rails like with the Thule Wingbar roof rack part numbers # TH711420, # TH460R, and # THKIT3118. Thule has tested this exact combination of roof rack and Hullavator and found it worked really well so we know it would work great for you.
