Upgrading Tire For Utility Camping Trailer

Question:

Would this be a good upgrade for a 3.5x5 Carry-on utility trailer converted to a roof to tent trailer? Would it allow for higher speeds on the highway over the original tires since these are listed at 81mph? Also would the 14inch wheels provide a decent lift over the original?

The tire diameter of this Kenda Wheel & Tire # AM32131 is 26.3 inches when inflated. If that's larger than the diameter you have on your trailer now, then yes it will provide a lift on your trailer. However smaller the diameter of your current tire divided by two is will tell you exactly how much lift. It's a radial tire and is rated for 81 MPH so if you're using a bias tire now that's rated for less speed this is definitely an upgrade. If you have a two inch increase in diameter, you will get 1 inch of lift.
