Question:

Im trying to come up with a solution to add steps to our truck that can be easily removed. We are going to use our truck as a pop up shop for the needy. Can you look at the measurements that Ive shown on the attached photo and see if these steps will work and clear the lower step on the truck. Thanks Also I would need to have a railing on these. Thanks

I have a solution for you. Unfortunately, the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps - 3 Steps # AS23 will not work with the dimensions that you provided (thank you!) because you have an entry height of 36 inches from the ground to the entry way. The Brophy steps are only designed to fit steps that have entryway heights of 24-30 inches.

With the information that you provided, the best solution would be the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps - 4 Steps # AS04. With these steps, they fit entryway heights of 31-39 inches. Also, in order for these steps to fit, the strip where you mount the mounting brackets must be at least 18-1/4 inches long. You can also add a handrail with part # AHR4.

However, one thing to note is the black step (12.25 inches). Since the lip might interfere with the steps, there is really no way to know for sure if the bottom hinge will be able to clear that black lip.
