Can Equal-i-Zer Weight Distribution System be Jackknifed

Are jackknife turns a problem for this equalizer hitch?

With all weight distribution systems including the Equal-i-zer # EQ37101ET you cannot make jackknife turns as it will either break a component of the system or one of the bars will pop out. Typically it's when people back up that there's an issue so what we tell people is that if you are going to be backing up mostly in a straight line you are okay to leave the spring bars hooked up but if you need to make a tight turn you need to disconnect the spring bars.
