Just wondering if you know what magnetic component I need to work with Kwikee Double Electric Step Item No. 81980 The steps are opening in the opposite direction. I have a 08 travel supreme envoy

I went ahead and called my contact at Lippert, and he said that more than likely, you need to change the magnetic door switch. If you have a newer model of Kwikee, you need an open circuit door switch. This is a black switch. For this part, I recommend the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC369299.
