Correct Tongue Weight Capacity of EcoHitch 306-X7290 Class I Hitch
Updated 08/06/2021 | Published 08/05/2021 >
Question:
In your response to Tom Gs question about a receiver for a 2017 Mini and a hitch mounted bike rack, you started that the 306-X7290 had a tongue weight spec of 150lbs. All others mentions on your side state that the tongue weight spec for this rack is 100lbs. Looking for clarification.

The tongue weight capacity of the EcoHitch Class I hitch, part # 306-X7290 is 150 lbs. I've confirmed this with my EcoHitch representative.
At one time, the tongue weight capacity was listed as 100 lbs, but EcoHitch recently did additional testing and determined that the tongue weight capacity was 150 lbs.
